Governor's Mansion Tours April 2 |1 pm, 2 pm, 3pm | Registration Required Register Here The historic Kearns Mansion is one of Utah's architectural treasures. It has a beautiful Chateauesque exterior, a stunning interior, and the dramatic story of the Kearns family. Thomas Kearns made a fortune on the silver flowing out of Park City mines. He spared no expense in building a home that became the dazzling center of Utah's elite social life. A world-class restoration completed in 1996 returned the mansion to its original 1902 appearance. Glimpse the gold-leafed dome and see Teddy Roosevelt's hat rack on a 45-minute guided tour of the Kearns Mansion's first floor. McCune Mansion Tours April 9 |10 am, 11am | Registration Required Register Here Spend an hour touring this elaborate historic mansion with Preservation Utah's guides and learn about the history of this 1901 Utah showplace. *Please do not contact the mansion directly for historical tours. Preservation Utah is the only one that provides historical tours of the McCune Mansion. Meditation Chapel Tours April 11 & 26 |11 am- 1pm More Info Here This is a free walk-up tour—no registration required! Nestled within the Memory Grove Park is the Meditation Chapel; Preservation Utah opens the building for tours on the second Friday and fourth Saturday of each month, from April through October, and for special events. The tour will take you through the chapel's interior (a charming, small room) but does not include a guided tour of the rest of the park’s monuments. City & County Building Tour April 25 | 9:30am Register Here Completed in 1894, the building is Utah's finest example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture.
